Live from Namibia...It's the LITTLE PUMPKINS!

Hello all my family and friends!

Today is June 1^st, and I am racing off to spend the afternoon with the kids at the center.  But I MUST post this little update because something GREAT has just happened!

I was fortunate enough to be introduced to Bill Bowles, a “roaming, free-agent video guy” who is traveling all over the world doing these little mini films on his experiences.  He spent the afternoon with us at the center, and took a tour of the community with my girl’s soccer team, the “little pumpkins”.  (thus named because of their orange jerseys)

Anyway, he did a GREAT little film on them, with Salome and Charlotte as the big stars!

Hi marybeth, i am Sylvia Fiano and very close friends with your Sister Kathy I have been working with her since the 8o's, but no-longer work, because of Early ON-Set Alzheimer's Disease, i have had sinse age 46. Anyway she told me all about you and your work in Africa, and every now and then i remember to check your site. Low and behold WOW the adorable Pumpkins.. YEAH, Yippee

They were just on TV here in the states on this past friday (today is sunday June 17) I think on 48 hours, I am not sure, I watched them saw them saw the man Bill, saw the little girls in different uniforms, and he talked about a challenge for them to play in America. They are beautifal children. They did not show you though. I hope this was your group of kids and I do not have this all messed up.
Anyway Kathy will not let me know what I can send out there?? She once wrote me a greeting card that came from your kids, (they made them and i wanted to purchace some, but it never came about. I love them so. She said it is very difficult in transport I think??? Please do not quote me. Oh i cannot believe I just saw the PUMPKINs on TV//
